His music is a bridge to others. Even if a track reaches only a hundred people instead of millions, CJ considers it a success if one person feels less alone. The journey of "THE CJ" truly began during one of his most challenging chapters. While facing housing instability and the temporary, unjust incarceration of his partner, CJ discovered the therapeutic power of music through Smule.

What started as a way to cope became a dedicated study of the human voice. Through years of relentless practice and experimentation, CJ pushed his physical boundaries, developing a staggering vocal range that spans from Bass to Mezzo-Soprano. Today, he uses that voice to navigate Bipolar Type 1, severe anxiety, and agoraphobia, proving that being "homebound" does not mean being silent.

The Maker’s Mindset
To CJ, technical precision is a form of therapy. Whether he is performing hardware surgery on a 2009 iPod Classic, optimizing a high-tier PC build, or perfecting a complex synth-pop arrangement, the "how" is just as important as the "what." This obsession with detail ensures that every project is polished to a professional edge.

Art Beyond the Self
CJ’s work spans from the deeply personal to the historically significant. His project Hold the Line serves as a record of Canadian history, capturing truths that were often hidden. Meanwhile, his Bayonetta-inspired work explores his "alter ego"—a counterpart that mirrors his own inner strength.

Anchored by a 12-year partnership and his two Chihuahuas Eevee and Smoochy, CJ’s life is proof that despite past trauma, it is possible to build a life defined by longevity, creativity, and purpose.
